I thought doing it alone was the advantage. But there's a ceiling to doing everything yourself. I was busy all the time… but not growing.
Leadership isn't a title. It shows up in the small, unglamorous moments—when you roll up your sleeves and grab an oar. Every. Single. Day.
A conversation at a party. A concept most people ignored. The discipline to act before it was obvious. That's the difference between scrambling and operating.
Rules matter more when nobody's watching. Especially at an open bar. Two drinks. That's it. Because I didn't come to party—I came to perform.
You can do things the right way… and still have to fight for what's yours. I don't always make the right choice. But I show up and take ownership.
